DIFFERENT TIMES, DIFFERENT PLACES

I've done my clinical training in a number of different settings from correctional/forensics, public/private sectors, and universities. And even before that, I worked in retail and food service. I think being able to work in all of those different settings (pre and post grad school) not only taught me how to genuinely connect and engage with folks, but it helped to shape the clinician I have become today.

IN THIS MOMENT

Although my private practice is where I focus a large portion of my passion and energy, I continue to work part time at a local university providing college counseling services and I'm also an adjunct professor for a doctorate level counseling psychology program. Being able to continue my trend of "working in a bunch of different places" seems to suite me.

OUT OF THE OFFICE

Outside of clinical work, I enjoy challenging myself with a good recipe, watching shows that bring out big laughs from the depths of my belly, spending time with my family and friends doing whatever our hearts desire, exercising, playing music, and trying to walk my dogs... keyword: "trying."
